For those that are looking for utilization statistics from within the system, we do not recommend using the output of the pbsnodes command for anything other than looking to see what nodes happen to be offline at any given moment. The reason for this is that we have reason to believe that the output of pbsnodes for anything other than this can be faulty.

Instead, if you would like to see what nodes are currently being utilized and at what percentages, we recommend looking at the Ganglia data above instead.

Dr. Paul Avery, Physics
Dr. Avery was the original HPC Center investor. His initial $200,000 investment combined with com- mitments from CLAS and OIT for staffing, additional equipment, and machine room improvements marked the creation of the HPC Center in 2004. Dr. Avery's vision was that of a shared-resource facility that could support his Open Science Grid research as well as the HPC community within the University. <more>
